This threader boasts the finest metal wand on the market, enabling it to easily thread those tiny sized 12 needles. Each needle is hand made in England and features an evenly tapered shape, quality plating, and the strength to handle tiny, even stitching. These needles have the largest eye on the market. Quality needles do make a difference in your hand quilting, but why pay more? Roxanne Needles are housed in a handsome plexiglass tube and each tube contains 60 needles! We recommend size 10 as a general all-purpose size.

Roxanne^TM Applique Needles

Created by Dierdra to meet the needs of hand appliquers! It is a hybrid of three types of needles. This British made needle is thin with an evenly tapered point that will make it feel like passing a hot knife through butter! It is stronger and a little longer than the traditional Sharps. It also sports a significantly larger eye for easier threading! Dierdra's new needle was hailed as the invention that has most impacted hand appliquers this decade by Faye Labanaris at the World Quilt Show. There is no size attached to this
needle as it is unique unto itself and does not follow the traditional rules.

This British made needle is thin and very long to meet the needs of basting quilts or applique. It is very flexible to allow maneuverability through the quilt. The eye is pleanty large enough for any thread you need to use. Approximately 2 1/4 inches long. 10 needles per tube.

Roxanne^TM Glue-Baste-It^TM

This incredible applique glue is 100% water soluble, dries in minutes, but holds firmly until you want it loose. The unique syringe applicator allows for the placement of controlled droplets of glue. Does not feel stiff when dry, and contains no dyes, waxes or harmful chemicals. Great for Baltimore Albums, chenille, paper piecing, Polynesian applique, tacking quilt bindings, Cathedral Windows, tacking bias binding, taking Chenille strips ..anywhere pins would normally go.

Syringe Top Care:
Roxanne Glue-Bate-It operates on the premise of capillary action. Water will not freely flow through the hypo-49 syringe cap. If glue dried in the tip it is best to try to clear it by sticking a very long thin pin down through it. Do not leave a pin in the syringe in an attempt to prevent glue blockage. To prevent it from doing this again you should "blow the glue" out after each use by following these instructions. When finished using Glue-Baste-It set the bottle upright on a table, after a few seconds you will be able to see the shadow of the glue level in the bottle. This means that there is air between that glue level and the lid of the bottle. Without tipping the remaining glue into the syringe squeeze the bottle to force the air into the syringe pushing out excess glue. You should wipe the excess glue with a Kleenex as it comes out, careful to keep the bottle upright the whole time or glue in the bottle will be able to re-enter the syringe. You should almost hear a "blow" noise as the last drop of glue clears the syringe. Remove the syringe top and replace with flat top for storage.
